Session security
__Host-secnet is a secure HttpOnly cookie used for authenticated sign-in and expires after one hour. Signing out ends it. Blocking the session cookie prevents use of member areas.
Preferences and games
A legacy secnet_locale cookie may remain for up to one year but no longer changes the site language. Muted official accounts and short-game progress use local storage; MUD session and room identifiers use tab session storage. Local data can persist until removed in the browser; session storage lasts for the browser tab session. These features do not build advertising profiles.
Account switching and this notice
A local event value notifies other tabs of an account switch. Closing this storage notice is remembered for the tab session. Closing it, joining or continuing to browse is not consent to advertising, analytics or other optional processing.
Optional tracking
No third-party advertising or analytics trackers are enabled in the inspected release. Before adding them, disclose purposes, providers and durations and obtain separate choices before activation where required by law. Refusal and withdrawal must be easy. We do not collect pretend consent for trackers that are not enabled.
Your controls
Use your browser’s translation feature if you prefer another language, unmute official accounts in their screen, or remove cookies and local data in your browser’s site settings. Removal can sign you out and delete progress held only in the browser; server-saved games and account data remain. Hosting previews and external links are subject to their providers’ own notices.
